We are searching for a strategic and results-driven Quality leader to oversee and elevate the company's Quality programs. This role will play a critical part in maintaining high standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The position reports directly to the Chief Science Officer.

Description
  • Lead and build high-performing Quality teams across multiple sites.
  • Foster a collaborative culture within and across departments.
  • Develop and maintain robust Microbiology and Analytical programs.
  • Establish and implement a comprehensive quality roadmap, including quality systems, product lifecycle methodologies, and document management.
  • Provide technical support for analytical methods development, product formulation, and process development.
  • Oversee product investigations, lot release processes, material controls, R&D Quality, and data integrity procedures.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Define and track meaningful metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to the executive leadership team.
  • Support validation activities for equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, risk assessments, verifications, and change management.
  • Lead the creation and improvement of SOPs, STPs, and cGMP programs.
  • Oversee the release of raw materials, component parts, and finished goods.
  • Manage and evaluate annual product reviews of OTC products.
  • Address deviations and OOS results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Handle customer qualification surveys, audits, and improvement programs.
  • Develop and implement external stakeholder strategies to maintain communication with regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EPA, and ATF.
  • Lead FDA and customer audits, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
  • Establish Quality and Regulatory agreements with customers and negotiate special requirements.

Profile
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within the Cosmetic or Personal Care industry. OTC Quality experience is a must on the manufacturing side.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven success in leading QA/QC teams, ideally in a contract manufacturing setting.
  • Strong track record with FDA and customer audits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for leveraging technology to enhance Quality Assurance processes.
  • Decisive leadership with a focus on accountability and team engagement.

Must be willing to travel up to 60% across the US
